PBK 3 is the “semilla, pampataba at pangangalaga” – the seed, fertilizer and nurturing for future community-based artistic and creative endeavor that may enrich the teaching-learning processes throughout the educational system.
This work-in-progress features both an organic subject matter, rice – with all its intimate and multi-faceted resonances in our culture, and an organic creative process: lyrical and musical knowledge products produced from PBK 1, and case studies produced from PBK 2,  will be distributed to  specialists from the fields of governance, culture and economics,  for “planting, nurturing and harvesting” as what we loosely call “monographs” in various forms to comprise the PBK CoreBook which will become a resource for the design of DepEd Standards-Based Teaching-Learning Modules by DepEd SPA Module Writers. These materials are intended to broaden the exposure of teachers-learners to areas outside of the usual official competencies using PBK imagery and music as a common thread.
