Arterapi 1
A series of art sessions that provides venue for persons with mental illness  and family members/careproviders to learn activities that can improve the following areas by enhancing their expressive abilities and creative capacity
in the areas of :
• Self expression
• Awareness of self and others
• Socialization skills
• Self confidence

ARTERAPI 1 is both interactive and collaborative.  After each module of art sessions, persons with mental illness and their family members udergo a psychological processing on the experience of attending the art sessions. The end product is a collaborative artwork following the Fabric of Life format of visual artist and inventor Paz Abad Santos.

Foundation AWIT

Foundation for Advancing Wellness, Instruction and Talents, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization which aims to improve health, education and creative capacity of differently-abled persons through research and capacity building.

Who We Are

The foundation was established in memory of Awit Nadera (July 10, 2002 - December 13, 2006) who had hearing impairment, seizure disorder and global developmental delay.
